The creator of the fantastic paintings is Carl Hammoud. He is a young swedish artist born 1976 in Stockholm and educated at Valand School of Fine Arts in Gothenburg. We have been fan of Carls work since a long time and love the way he works with disorder and order and his choice of colours. The pictures are taken from here and if you want too dig deeper in his work this is also the place check out.

We like Haw-lin. This is a Haw-lin Services interpretation of Velour.
We’ve received really great bags made of cotton with the Velour logo on in the store in Gothenburg! Will post up a photo as soon as possible!

We met the great guys from a Gothenburg band called Elefant, Johan och David. They seem to have something great and secret going on. We’ll have to keep a look out!

Nice camp-neighbours!

We met with another writer at Rodeo, Amy, who we know from Gothenburg, so we hung out with her and our friend Anna for a little while before the Strokes and a Swedish electronic band called Maskinen started to play.

OK, now we’ve been really bad at updating, but there’s a lot going on these days! Well, at least, last week we visited the Peace & Love festival in Borlänge, in the middle of Sweden. Plenty of great bands, nice weather and a lot of great people made the festival a memory for life! And all of our Swedish readers – you know that we have a summer-blog at the website of Swedish magazine Rodeo? If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out!
